About the event
Rick is a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer and the principal owner and CEO at www.R2Controls.com, https://www.linkedin.com/in/richardrysr2/ where he provides engineering and consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries worldwide. Rick is a process control and safety system expert and for the past 9 years he contracts as the director of consulting for market research firm ARC where he provides market research on the energy transition and has studied the markets for grid automation, microgrids (Hypergrids). Rick worked for Foxboro Company (now Schneider-Electric) for 20 years before forming R2Controls in 1996. For five years prior to working at ARC he contracted to Schneider Electric as a V&V engineer to test the control and safety systems for eight PWR nuclear reactors now in operation in China.
